Every product that tracks inventory keeps a full history of how its stock has changed over time.
Open a product’s history
There are two easy ways:
- From the Inventory page, click View History at the end of the product’s row.
- From the product’s detail page, click View History in the Inventory section.
The page header shows the product name followed by “Stock History”.
Filter the history
Use the location dropdown to limit the history to a single location, then apply it. Results are listed newest first.
What each entry shows
Each movement records when it happened, the type of change (such as purchase, sale, adjustment, transfer, return, write-off, or initial stock), the location involved, and who recorded it.
Tip: Stock history is read-only — it is the audit trail of every change. To change stock, use a stock adjustment or receive a purchase order.
