You can generate pick lists for one or many orders. Combining orders into a single batch or wave pick list lets a picker collect items for several orders in one efficient trip.
Generate a pick list for a single order
- Open the fulfillment order.
- Choose to generate a pick list. The new pick list opens, ready to pick.
Generate pick lists for multiple orders (batch)
- Go to Fulfillment Orders and select the orders you want.
- Choose to generate pick lists for the selected orders.
- Pick how you want them created:
- Individual – a separate pick list for each order.
- Combined – one batch pick list covering all the selected orders.
- Confirm. You are taken to the new pick list (for a combined batch) or to the Pick Lists page (for individual lists).
Generate a wave pick list
A wave pick list automatically gathers eligible orders up to a cutoff time into one list. When you generate a wave, you can optionally set the cutoff time; if you leave it blank, the current time is used. The new wave pick list shows how many items and orders it includes.
Tip: Use a combined batch or a wave when many small orders are waiting – it reduces walking and speeds up the warehouse.
