Use the quick actions on the Tax dashboard

The Tax Management dashboard includes shortcut buttons so you can jump straight to the most common tasks without hunting through menus.

Buttons in the page header

• View Reports – opens the Tax Reports page.
• Generate Return – opens the form to create a new tax filing.

Quick Actions panel

In the right-hand sidebar, the Quick Actions panel offers four shortcuts:

1. Generate Return – create a new tax filing. See Create a tax filing.
2. Record Payment – opens the filings list so you can choose a filing to pay.
3. Add Certificate – opens the Exemption Certificates page. See Add an exemption certificate.
4. View Reports – opens the Tax Reports page.

Other links on the page

• The Nexus Status Summary panel has a View All link to Nexus Management.
• The Upcoming Due Dates panel has a View All Filings link to the filings list.

Tip: The dashboard itself does not change any data. Each action takes you to the page where the work is actually done.
