Create an employee goal

Goals let you set objectives for an employee and track them over time. A new goal starts as Not Started with zero progress.

Steps

  1. Go to Goals and click Create Goal (or New Goal).
  2. Choose the Employee the goal is for.
  3. Enter a Title, and optionally a Description.
  4. Optionally set a Target Date.
  5. Choose a Priority: Low, Medium, or High.
  6. Optionally link the goal to one of the employee’s performance reviews.
  7. Save. The goal is created and you land on its details page.

Tip: Setting a target date lets the Goals list flag the goal as overdue if its deadline passes before it is completed.
