Opening a product or service shows everything recorded about it, including pricing and (for tracked products) current stock.
Open a product
- Open Products & Services.
- Click the item’s name, or click View at the end of its row.
What you will see
- Description — the item’s full description, if one was entered.
- Pricing Details — the Cost, Price, Unit, and Profit Margin.
- Details — the Category, whether the item is Taxable, its Status, and the dates it was Created and Last Updated.
Inventory section (tracked products only)
If the product tracks inventory, an Inventory section shows current stock, the Reorder Point, and a Stock by Warehouse breakdown. Alerts appear when the item is Low Stock or Out of Stock. A Default Storage Location may also be listed.
Tip: Use the View History link in the Inventory section to see every stock movement for the product — see View a product’s stock history.
Editing
To change a product’s information, click Edit. Product details are managed under Settings.
