The Tax by Jurisdiction report breaks down your taxable sales and tax collected by state, county, and city, so you can see exactly where your tax activity is happening.
Open the report
- Go to Tax Management > Reports.
- Click the Tax by Jurisdiction card.
Set your filters
- Choose a Start Date and an End Date for the period you want to review.
- Optionally choose a State to focus on a single state, or leave it on All States.
- Click Apply Filters.
Read the results
The table lists each jurisdiction with these columns:
- Jurisdiction – the state, county, or city.
- Taxable Sales – total sales subject to tax.
- Tax Collected – tax collected for that jurisdiction.
- Avg Rate – the average tax rate applied.
- Transactions – the number of transactions.
Totals for all jurisdictions are summarised at the bottom.
