DISTRIBUTION

Distribution software where stock and the ledger agree

Distribution lives or dies on whether the stock figure is true and the order goes out today. Zevonix Business Suite runs purchasing, stock, fulfillment and invoicing on the same data model as the general ledger, so what the warehouse believes and what the books say are the same number.

WHERE ORDERS GO WRONG

The distribution problems worth solving

Most of them are one problem wearing different hats: stock data you cannot trust.

Stock figures are wrong by the afternoon

Receipts, picks and adjustments land at different times, so the number on screen is historical rather than current.

Multi-supplier buying is opaque

The same item comes from three suppliers at three prices, and nobody can say which order used which cost.

Receiving does not match the PO

Short shipments and substitutions get absorbed informally, and the supplier invoice is paid without anyone reconciling it.

Fulfillment status is a phone call

Customers ask where the order is and the answer requires someone to walk to the warehouse.

ONE PLATFORM, NOT SIX TOOLS

How Zevonix Business Suite runs a distribution business

Buying, holding, shipping and accounting on one set of records.

Stock and Stock Adjustments

What you hold and every movement that changed it.

Purchase Orders and Suppliers

Multi-supplier buying with receipts matched against what was ordered.

Fulfillment Orders

Picking and shipping tracked so order status is a screen, not a walk.

Sales and Deals

Quotes and orders against the account, feeding straight into fulfillment.

Chart of Accounts and A/P

Double-entry books underneath, with supplier invoices approved before payment.

Reports and Analytics

Margin by product, customer and supplier from live operational data.

END TO END

An order, end to end

  1. 1. The order is taken
Against the customer account, with pricing and stock visible at entry.
  2. 2. Stock is committed
Availability reflects the order immediately rather than at end of day.
  3. 3. Replenishment is raised
Purchase orders go to the chosen supplier and record what actually arrived.
  4. 4. The order is fulfilled
Picking and shipping close out through Fulfillment Orders with tracking attached.
  5. 5. Invoice and reconcile
Billing follows the shipment, and the ledger reflects both without re-entry.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Distribution software questions

Yes – multi-supplier purchasing is part of the platform, with supplier records and purchase orders tied to the items they cover. There is a published guide to multi-supplier inventory in the Help Center worth reading during the trial.
Real: general ledger, A/R, A/P, bank reconciliation and fiscal periods are included. The QuickBooks Online sync exists for firms whose accountant prefers to stay there.
Stock is tracked with locations and adjustments. How closely that maps to your warehouse layout is a configuration question to settle with your implementation contact rather than assume.
$249/month for 1–5 users, $549 for 6–15, $849 for 16–30, every module included, custom quotes above 30.
