As a deal progresses, move it to the stage that reflects where it stands in your sales process. The Deals Pipeline is organized into columns by stage.
Move a deal between stages
- Open Deals to view the pipeline.
- Drag the deal card from its current stage column into the stage you want.
You can also change the stage from the deal’s edit form by choosing a different Stage and saving.
What happens when you move a deal
- The stage change is recorded on the deal’s activity timeline, noting the previous and new stage.
- The deal’s Probability updates to match the new stage.
- If the new stage is named as won or lost, the matching notification is sent; otherwise a stage-changed notification goes out.
Tip: If stages are not yet set up for your organization, you will see a message that no deal stages are configured. An administrator can add stages so the pipeline columns appear.
