Edit a project

Edit a project

Update a project’s details, status, budget, or progress at any time.

  1. Go to Projects and open the project you want to change.
  2. Select Edit.
  3. Update any of the fields, including Name, Account, Status, Priority, Description, Start date, End date, and the budget amounts.
  4. You can also set Progress as a percentage from 0 to 100, and turn Portal visible on or off.
  5. Select Save to apply your changes.

Tip: When you change a project’s status, the system notifies the project owner. If the project is portal visible and linked to an account, the customer’s portal contacts are notified of the status change too.
