Nexus Management helps you track where your sales are creating a sales tax obligation. As your sales in a state grow, you may cross an “economic nexus” threshold that requires you to register and collect tax there. This area shows you, state by state, how close you are.
Where to find it
From Tax Management, open the Nexus Status Summary panel and click View All, or go to Tax Management > Nexus Management. The page is titled “Nexus Management” with the description “Track sales tax nexus status across all states.”
Summary cards
Three cards at the top give you the headline counts:
- Registered States
- Approaching Threshold
- Needs Registration
State-by-State Overview
The table lists every state with these columns:
- State
- YTD Sales – sales in that state over the last 12 months.
- Threshold – the economic nexus threshold (commonly $100,000).
- Progress – a progress bar and percentage toward the threshold.
- Status – Registered, Approaching, Action Required, or Monitoring.
- Actions – a View Details link.
Common tasks
Tip: States are sorted by sales, highest first, so the states most likely to need attention appear near the top.
