Exemption Certificates

Exemption Certificates overview

Exemption Certificates is where you keep track of the tax exemption certificates your customers have provided. Storing them here lets you confirm which customers are exempt, monitor expiration dates, and attach the supporting documents.

Where to find it

From Tax Management, use the Add Certificate quick action, or go to Tax Management > Exemption Certificates. The page is titled “Exemption Certificates” with the description “Manage customer tax exemption certificates.”

Quick stats

Four cards summarise your certificates:

  • Total Certificates
  • Active
  • Expiring Soon
  • Expired

The certificates table

Each certificate appears as a row with these columns:

  • Customer
  • Type
  • Certificate #
  • State
  • Expires
  • Status
  • Document – a download icon if a file is attached.
  • Actions – edit, download, and delete icons.

Rows are shaded when a certificate is expiring soon or already expired.
