Change your password

You can change your password at any time while signed in. In some cases the platform will also require you to change it before continuing — for example, when a password has expired.

When you are asked to change your password

If your password must be changed, you will see the Change Your Password page with the message “You must change your password before continuing.” A list of Password Requirements is shown to guide you.

Change your password

  1. In Current Password, enter the password you use now.
  2. In New Password, enter a new password that meets the listed requirements.
  3. In Confirm New Password, re-enter the new password.
  4. Click Change Password.

After a successful change, you continue to your Dashboard.

Tip: Your new password must be different from your current one. If they match, the platform asks you to choose a different password.

Changing your password from settings

You can also update your password from your profile or security settings while signed in — see Update your profile. Changing your password there signs you out of your other devices for safety.

Prefer to step away?

On the forced change page you can choose Sign out instead to end your session without changing your password.
