You can link each product to the suppliers that provide it, and record each supplier’s own part number and price. This powers supplier-specific pricing on purchase orders.
Add suppliers to a product
- Go to Settings → Products & Services and create or edit a product.
- Find the Suppliers & Pricing section, below the description.
- Click Add supplier, then for each row choose a Supplier and enter their Supplier SKU (their part number) and Supplier Cost (what they charge).
- Add as many suppliers as you need, then Save.
A supplier must already exist before you can link it. To add one, see Add a supplier.
Why this matters
When you create a purchase order and choose a supplier, the product picker shows only products linked to that supplier, and each line’s cost fills in with that supplier’s price. See Buy from the right supplier on a purchase order.
Note: The supplier part number now lives here, per supplier. It replaces the older single “Vendor / Supplier Part #” field that used to be on the product itself.
