Pending leave requests need a decision from an approver. You can approve or reject them from the Leave Requests list or from a request’s details page.
Who can approve
You can approve or reject requests for your direct reports or employees within your access scope. You also need an employee record of your own to be recorded as the approver.
Approve a request
- Open the Leave list, or open the specific request.
- On a Pending request, click Approve.
- The request becomes Approved and you will see a confirmation with the request number.
Reject a request
- On a Pending request, click Reject.
- Enter a Rejection Reason (this is required).
- Confirm to reject. The request becomes Rejected and the reason is saved on the request.
Tip: Only requests that are still Pending can be approved or rejected. Once a decision is made, the status is locked in.
