BambooHR only accepts values that already exist in your account’s lists, and every company sets these up differently. The Field Mapping screen lets you match Zevonix Business Suite values to the exact options in your BambooHR account, so employee data syncs cleanly.
Open field mapping
- Go to Settings → Integrations → BambooHR.
- Click Field Mapping.
Map employment types and departments
The dropdowns are pulled live from your BambooHR account, so you can only pick options that actually exist there.
- Employment Type — match each Zevonix Business Suite type (Full Time, Part Time, Contractor, Intern) to your BambooHR employment-status option. For example, if BambooHR calls it “Contract” instead of “Contractor”, map it here.
- Departments — match each Zevonix Business Suite department to the matching BambooHR department.
Anything you leave unmapped falls back to sensible defaults or matches by name. Click Save Mapping when done.
Note: An employee’s status (Active / Inactive) is not mapped — BambooHR uses a fixed status field that Zevonix Business Suite sets automatically from the employee’s status.
