Connect your BambooHR account to keep employee records in sync with Zevonix Business Suite. This is a one-time setup that takes about 5 minutes. Once connected, employee changes in Zevonix Business Suite are pushed to BambooHR, and changes made in BambooHR are pulled back — with Zevonix Business Suite as the source of truth if the same record changes in both places. Everything lives under Settings → Integrations → BambooHR.
Before you start
You need administrator access to your BambooHR account to create an API key, and your BambooHR company domain — the part of your BambooHR web address before .bamboohr.com (for example, acme in acme.bamboohr.com).
Step 1 — Create a BambooHR API key
- Sign in to BambooHR and click your profile picture in the upper-right corner.
- Choose API Keys.
- Click Add New Key, give it a name such as “Zevonix Business Suite”, and copy the key.
Step 2 — Connect in Zevonix Business Suite
- Go to Settings → Integrations → BambooHR.
- Enter your Company Domain and paste your API Key.
- Click Test Connection to confirm the credentials work, then Connect BambooHR.
Your API key is stored encrypted and is validated the moment you save, so a wrong key is caught right away.
Tip: The employee fields BambooHR shares depend on your API key’s permissions in BambooHR. If a field such as SSN or date of birth is missing, give the key’s BambooHR user access to it.
