Use activities to record your outreach and keep a history of every interaction with a lead. Logged activities appear on the lead’s timeline.
Steps
- Open Leads and select the lead you want to update.
- On the lead’s detail page, find Log Activity.
- Choose the activity type: Note, Call, or Meeting.
- Optionally add a title and write the details in the notes field.
- Select Save Activity.
The activity is added to the lead’s timeline with the date and your name. If you do not enter a title, the activity type is used as the title.
Tip: Log a quick note after every call or meeting so the next person who picks up the lead has the full story.
