Log an activity on a lead

Use activities to record your outreach and keep a history of every interaction with a lead. Logged activities appear on the lead’s timeline.

Steps

  1. Open Leads and select the lead you want to update.
  2. On the lead’s detail page, find Log Activity.
  3. Choose the activity type: Note, Call, or Meeting.
  4. Optionally add a title and write the details in the notes field.
  5. Select Save Activity.

The activity is added to the lead’s timeline with the date and your name. If you do not enter a title, the activity type is used as the title.

Tip: Log a quick note after every call or meeting so the next person who picks up the lead has the full story.
