Record your work on a deal by logging activities. They appear on the deal’s timeline alongside automatic entries like stage changes.
Steps
- Open Deals and select the deal you want to update.
- On the deal’s detail page, find the activity section and select Add Activity.
- Choose the activity type: Note, Call, Email, Meeting, or Task.
- Enter a description of what happened. A description is required.
- Save the activity.
The activity is added to the deal’s timeline with the date and your name.
Tip: Log a note after each call or meeting so everyone working the deal stays informed of the latest developments.
