Dispatch Board Overview
The Dispatch Board gives you a single view of a day’s field work. You can see your technicians, the jobs scheduled to each of them, and any work orders that still need a technician, all for the date you choose.
Where to find the Dispatch Board
Open Dispatch Board under Field Service in the main navigation. Pick a Date to see that day’s plan (it defaults to today).
What you see
- Technicians – your active field technicians, each showing the jobs scheduled to them for the selected day.
- Unassigned work orders – jobs that still need a technician.
- Summary stats – counts of unassigned, scheduled, active, and completed work orders, plus how many technicians are available.
- Skills and zones – available for filtering and matching technicians to jobs.
What you can do
Assign work orders to technicians by dragging them, dispatch several work orders at once, and view suggested technicians who have the right skills and capacity for a job.
Tip: Completed and cancelled jobs are not shown against technicians for the day, so the board stays focused on work that still needs attention.
