You create a fulfillment order from an invoice that is ready to be fulfilled. Once created, the order can be picked, packed, and shipped.
Steps
- Go to Fulfillment Orders and choose to create a new order. The Create Fulfillment Order page opens.
- Select the invoice you want to fulfill from the list of invoices awaiting fulfillment. (This is required.)
- Optionally set the Priority – Low, Normal, High, or Rush. If you leave it blank, the order is set to Normal.
- Optionally choose a Warehouse to fulfill from.
- Optionally add Special Instructions for the warehouse team.
- Optionally set a Ship By Date.
- Save the order. You are taken to the new order’s detail page and the order receives its Fulfillment #.
Creating from an invoice or work order
You can also start a fulfillment order directly from an invoice page or a work order page. The system creates the order and takes you straight to it.
Warning: An invoice that already has a fulfillment order, or that is not in a fulfillable status, cannot be fulfilled. If you see a message that the invoice cannot be fulfilled, check whether an order already exists for it.
