Edit a fulfillment order

You can update a fulfillment order’s details – including its shipping address, priority, and notes – as long as the order is still editable.

When can an order be edited?

An order can only be edited before it has progressed too far through fulfillment. If editing is not allowed, you will be returned to the order’s detail page with a message that the order cannot be edited.

Steps

  1. Open the fulfillment order you want to change.
  2. Choose to edit the order. The Edit Fulfillment Order page opens.
  3. Update any of the available fields:
    • Priority – Low, Normal, High, or Rush.
    • Warehouse.
    • Special Instructions and Internal Notes.
    • Ship By Date.
    • Ship To details: name, company, address, second address line, city, state, ZIP, country, phone, and email.
  4. Save your changes. You return to the order’s detail page with a confirmation message.

Tip: Use Special Instructions for notes the warehouse team should act on, and Internal Notes for information that stays with your team.
