Fulfillment Orders

Cancel or delete a fulfillment order

If an order should no longer be fulfilled, you can either cancel it or, in limited cases, delete it. These are different actions with different effects.

Cancel an order

Cancelling keeps the order on record but marks it as Cancelled, so you retain a history of what happened.

  1. Open the fulfillment order.
  2. Choose to cancel the order.
  3. Enter a Reason for the cancellation. (This is required.)
  4. Confirm. The order is marked Cancelled and you return to the orders list.

Delete an order

Deleting removes the order entirely. This is only allowed when the order is still Awaiting Pick – that is, no work has started yet.

  1. Open an order that is still Awaiting Pick.
  2. Choose to delete the order.
  3. Confirm. The order is removed and its invoice is returned to an unfulfilled state so it can be fulfilled again later.

Warning: If an order has already moved past Awaiting Pick, you cannot delete it – cancel it instead. Cancelling is the safer choice because it preserves a record of the order.
