This is the core picking task: working through a pick list and recording each item as you collect it.
Steps
- Open the Picking Workstation and choose an available pick list. Select Continue Picking to open it.
- If the list has not started yet, start picking. This opens the active picking screen with the first item highlighted.
- Go to the item’s location, shown under Items by Location, and collect it.
- Enter the Quantity Picked for the item. (At least one unit is required, and you cannot enter more than the quantity remaining.)
- If the item requires a Serial Number, scan or enter it. The system can verify the serial for you.
- Choose Confirm Pick. The workstation advances to the next item.
- Repeat until every item is picked. When the last item is recorded, the pick list is marked complete and you return to the workstation home.
Skipping an item
If you want to come back to an item later, use Skip Item. The workstation moves to the next pending item without changing the skipped item, so you can return to it before finishing.
Tip: The workstation supports keyboard shortcuts (look for the Keyboard Shortcuts guide on screen) so you can pick quickly without reaching for the mouse.
