You can write and send email directly from the platform. This article covers composing a new message, adding attachments, and saving drafts.
Compose a new email
- Open the Email module.
- Click Compose.
- Enter the recipient(s), a subject, and your message.
- Click Send.
Add attachments
While composing, attach files to include them with your message. Recipients receive the attachments as part of the email.
Save a draft
Not ready to send? Click Save Draft to keep your message. You can return to it later from your drafts, finish it, and send. See Managing Drafts and Trash.
Tip: emails you send are linked to the related contact or account, so your team can see the full conversation history on the record.
