Accounts are the companies and organizations you do business with. Each account is the central record that ties together the people you work with, your deals, projects, tickets, and invoices.
Where to find Accounts
Open Accounts from the main navigation. The list shows your accounts and lets you search, filter, and sort them.
Key concepts
- Type describes the relationship: Customer, Prospect, Partner, Vendor, or Other.
- Industry groups accounts by sector, such as technology, healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, education, or government.
- Status can be Active, Inactive, or Pending.
- Owner is the team member responsible for the account. If you do not pick one, the account is assigned to you.
The account detail page
Opening an account shows tabbed sections that bring everything about the relationship into one place, including Overview, Contacts, Projects, Tickets, Quotes, Invoices, Emails, Documents, and Tax Certificates. The Overview also summarizes details such as deals, paid revenue, and open tickets.
