Performance brings together two related tools: Performance Reviews, which assess an employee over a review period, and Goals, which track individual objectives and their progress.
Where to find it
Open the HR section and choose Performance for reviews, and Goals for employee goals.
Key concepts
- Performance review – a review of an employee by a reviewer, covering a review period and date, with ratings and written feedback.
- Ratings – scores from 1 to 5 across areas such as performance, communication, teamwork, leadership, and technical skill, which combine into an overall rating.
- Review status – a review moves from Draft, to Submitted for acknowledgment, to Acknowledged once the employee has reviewed it.
- Goal – an objective for an employee with a priority, target date, status, and progress percentage. Goals can be linked to a performance review.
Lists and summaries
The Performance Reviews list shows reviews with their employee, reviewer, dates, and status, plus summary counts by status. The Goals list shows goals with status, priority, and target date, and can highlight overdue goals.
